Purely fictitious, this mystery/humor introduces Maggy Mae, an all-American girl Friday turned private eye, residing in all places, Brussels, Belgium. Our heroine muddles through a sordid mystery true to form, relying on her uncanny knack of good timing and keen instincts, which albeit are slightly skewed. Set in the suburbs of Brussels, back-dropped with an odd combination of hometown suburbia and cosmopolitan living, where international glitz combats the doldrums of Americana,
Amour or Less is consummated with a rather eclectic host of characters. Add a dash of—dare I say—sex, a heaping spoonful of scandal, and a juicy twist mixed up with a plethora of witty quips, and you have a scintillatingly salacious narration of mammoth proportions that will keep you guessing and giggling until the savory end.
